LLA members Sue Fluri and Betty Lujan-Roberts will talk about their experiences living with limited or no vision.
Sue Fluri lost her sight in her early 40s. She then moved to Kalamazoo in 1997 to attend the training center for the blind on Oakland Drive. Betty Lujan-Roberts was one of the amazing teachers who helped Sue learn how to live an “ex-sighted” life. A dedicated reader, Sue will share alternative ways of reading and show us some of the equipment she uses. Sue is an articulate and interesting speaker. If you’ve ever worried about your own or a loved one’s sight, you’ll find Sue’s presentation helpful.
