All About RAWK, Victoria Marcetti, program director, and other RAWK staff. Read and Write Kalamazoo (RAWK) exists to celebrate and amplify youth voices through the cultivation of reading and writing skills via joy, creativity, equity, and access. We’ll learn more at our luncheon and also have the chance to purchase books for RAWK from Bookbug, who will bring a display of books especially selected for RAWK kids.
The luncheon menu will feature pasta primavera, chicken parmesan, roll, peach and blueberry crisp topped with whipped cream, coffee and tea. The vegetarian option will be a veggie burger on bibb lettuce. If you want the vegetarian option, be sure to order it when you RSVP.
Your reservation and $14 payment is due by Monday, August 1. To RSVP, email Reservation Chair Heather Ricketts, rsvp@nullladieslibrarykzoo.org, or call 269-359-7938 before 9:00 pm, please. The kitchen crew uses the official reservation list for food purchase and preparation. If you RSVP for the luncheon, then the kitchen will prepare a meal for you. Payment is then expected whether you attend or not. Walk-ins may not be accommodated so be sure to RSVP. Mail your check when you reserve your place, to be sure it arrives on time, or drop it in the mail slot on the LLA door. Thank you!
