LLA Members’ Diversity Songfest. Teresa Johnson-Randle will lead “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” also known as the black national anthem, and Gloria Padilla-Carlson will lead “Las Mananitas,” a traditional Mexican birthday song. Janet Heller will lead two short Jewish songs, a song about healing by Debbie Friedman and a song about Jerusalem by Naomi Shemer. Lyrics will be provided and members will be encouraged to join in singing.

Update to our Covid policy recommended by our Covid Response Team: the attendance cap will be 36, counted at the door. Masks will be optional but strongly recommended as the COVID infection rate in is climbing again. The Center for Disease Control rates Kalamazoo County “high” for risk of transmission, according to Bridge Magazine.
