Discover Kalamazoo’s original women’s club: good conversation, lifelong learning, social connections, a beautiful place to belong. The Ladies’ Library Association is a community of curious, community-minded women who care about legacy, literacy, and the arts. We gather in our historic 1879 “Grand Lady of Kalamazoo” building for events, cultural programs, and volunteer projects that support women and children in our community.
How to Join
Any woman 18-years or older who appreciates the LLA’s mission and vision may become a member. The LLA encourages prospective members to attend a member event before joining, but it is not mandatory. Complete the membership application below and mail it with your dues check endorsed to “LLA” to:

Dues are payable with your application. Annual (January through December) dues are currently $80. If you join after July 31, dues for the remainder of the year are $45. If you join in December, the annual dues include that month plus the following year (13 months total). There is also a lifetime membership of a $1,000 one-time payment.
